Video Analysis

See the Technique, Frame by Frame

Import a clip from your phone, step through it frame by frame and draw straight on the picture. Highlight where the pole plants, where the weight shifts, where the position breaks — then export the annotated video and send it to the athlete.

Video Analysis is included with Premium.

Single video analysis

Take one clip and work through it. Step frame by frame, trim to the part that matters, set the true frame rate if you filmed in slow motion, and annotate directly on the frame. Export the result as an mp4 or save it straight to Photos.

Comparison analysis

Put two clips side by side — the same athlete in October and in February, or an athlete next to the technique you want them to copy. Both run frame by frame together, so the difference is something you can see rather than something you have to describe.

Key Features

Frame-by-frame stepping

Move through the clip one frame at a time, forwards or back, to land exactly on the moment that matters.

Annotate on the frame

Draw straight onto the picture to mark angles, timing and where the position breaks.

Trim to what matters

Cut the clip down to the few seconds worth studying before you start.

Slow-motion and high-speed

Set the clip’s true frame rate so footage filmed at 120 or 240 fps plays back correctly.

Side-by-side comparison

Run two clips together to compare an athlete with themselves or with the technique you want them to copy.

Export and share

Save the annotated video as an mp4 or straight to Photos, and send it to the athlete.
