How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your BiathlonHub account using one of these methods:

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the BiathlonHub app
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll to Privacy & Data
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Enter your password to confirm
6. Tap Delete Permanently

Your account will be deleted immediately, with data purged within 30 days.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to support@biathlonhub.com with:

• Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
• Your registered email address
• Confirmation that you want to delete your account

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Account Information: Name, email, password, profile settings
• Athlete Profiles: All athlete data you created or own
• Shooting Sessions: All training and competition records
• Training Diary: All diary entries and activities
• Equipment Records: All equipment and maintenance data
• Events: All events you created
• Teams: All teams you own
• Health Data: Sleep records, fitness metrics, workout imports
• Cycle Data: Menstrual cycle records and BBT readings
• Training Plans: All plans and completion records
• Shares: All sharing relationships are revoked

Data Retained After Deletion

Due to legal and regulatory requirements, some data may be retained:

• Billing Information: Payment history and invoices are retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
• Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained indefinitely
• Legal Records: Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or compliance

This retained data cannot be used to identify you or reconstruct your account.

Active Subscription

If you have an active premium subscription:

• Your subscription will be cancelled automatically
• You will not receive a refund for the remaining subscription period
• We recommend cancelling your subscription before deleting your account if you want to use the remaining time

Shared Data

When you delete your account:

• Athletes shared with you by other users will no longer be accessible to you
• Athletes you shared with others will be unshared
• Data you entered on shared athletes owned by others may remain with that owner

Account Recovery

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Once deleted:

• Your data cannot be recovered
• You cannot reactivate the account
• You may register again with the same email address as a new user

We strongly recommend exporting your data before deletion if you want to keep a copy.
