Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using BiathlonHub ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and hyperdigital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), the developer and operator of BiathlonHub.
2. Description of Service
BiathlonHub is a biathlon training application that enables:
- Coaches and athletes to monitor shooting performance
- Management of athlete profiles and training data
- Organization of competitions and training events
- Sharing of training data between coaches and athletes
- Integration with health platforms (Apple Health, Health Connect)
- Optional menstrual cycle tracking for female athletes
3. User Requirements
To use BiathlonHub, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age, or have parental consent if younger
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Users under 16 years of age require parental or guardian consent. Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the App.
4. Subscription Plans
4.1 Free Tier
The free tier includes:
- Up to 3 athlete profiles
- Basic shooting session tracking
- Offline data storage
4.2 Premium Tier
The premium subscription includes:
- Unlimited athlete profiles
- Advanced sharing capabilities
- Team management features
- Training plan creation
- PDF export functionality
- Health data integration
Premium subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid charges for the next billing period.
5. Data Ownership and License
You retain ownership of all data you enter into BiathlonHub. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your data to provide the service
- Create backups for data protection purposes
- Generate anonymized, aggregated statistics (no personally identifiable information)
When entering data about athletes (especially minors), you confirm that you have the necessary consent or authority to do so.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or content
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to amounts paid by you in the preceding 12 months
- We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, user error, or circumstances beyond our control
We recommend maintaining your own backups of important training data.
8. Account Termination
By You: You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account, or by contacting support@biathlonhub.com.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through:
- In-app notifications
- Email to your registered address
- A prompt to accept updated terms upon login
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Medical Disclaimer
BiathlonHub is NOT a medical device. The App does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or health advice.
- Recovery scores and training recommendations are suggestions only, not medical prescriptions
- Health metrics displayed are imported from third-party sources (Apple Health, Health Connect) - we do not verify their accuracy
- Female cycle tracking is for training adaptation purposes only and must NOT be used for fertility prediction, contraception, or medical diagnosis
- Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting new training programs or if you have health concerns

11. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your Premium subscription contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you subscribe to Premium.
Important: By purchasing a Premium subscription and beginning to use Premium features immediately, you expressly consent to the commencement of services before the withdrawal period has expired. You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided.

Withdrawal vs. Cancellation: Withdrawal (with full refund) only applies within 14 days of purchase. Subscription cancellation (taking effect at the end of the billing period) is available at any time via app settings or your app store.
12. Refund Policy
Within 14-day withdrawal period: Full refund if withdrawal is exercised before digital content is accessed.
After withdrawal period: Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
Exceptions: Refunds may be provided at our discretion in cases of:
- Service outages exceeding 7 consecutive days
- Technical issues preventing use of paid features
- Duplicate charges or billing errors

13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union, you also enjoy the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
For disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at legal@biathlonhub.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be resolved in the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country require otherwise.
14. Online Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR):
